Accessibility at a glance

I aim to make this website clear, easy to navigate and usable with a keyboard, screen-reader software and enlarged text. If you have difficulty accessing any information, need it in another format or would like to discuss an adjustment, please contact me.

Using this website

You should be able to:

  • navigate the website using a keyboard and skip directly to the main content;
  • zoom in or enlarge text while the content continues to reflow without horizontal scrolling;
  • identify keyboard focus clearly;
  • use headings and page landmarks to navigate with assistive technology; and
  • understand meaningful images through their text alternatives.

The website is built with semantic HTML and CSS and does not rely on JavaScript for its core content or navigation.

Accessibility standard and assessment

This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at Level AA.

The site was self-evaluated on 21 August 2026. The review covered page structure, headings, image descriptions, keyboard access, focus visibility, colour contrast, link behaviour, reduced-motion preferences and reflow at narrow widths. Issues identified during the review were corrected, and I am not currently aware of any remaining accessibility barriers.

This was a self-evaluation rather than an independent accessibility certification. The website will be reviewed when substantial changes are made and at least once a year.

Accessing counselling or supervision

If you have access needs relating to communication, online sessions or attending in person, please contact me to discuss what adjustments may be helpful. This statement covers the website and does not make specific claims about the physical accessibility of the counselling premises.
